The contest is open to members of Realms of Research and to non-members as well. 

Each contest (Hook'em in 5 & History in Color) shall be limited to the first 100 paid entries.

There is no limit to the number of eligible books/manuscripts that may be entered. 

All contest entry information and appropriate fees must be received at The Ferguson Literary Agency no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, December 30, 2004 for Hook'em In 5, and January 30, 2005 for History in Color contests.  Failure to meet the appropriate deadline shall disqualify the entry from the contest. All forms and fees received after the deadline shall be returned to the entrant.

First 5 pages of Hook'em in 5 contest may be submitted electronically.  To ensure delivery of entry e-mail, use the return/receipt request for verification. 

Manuscripts/pages must be received by The Ferguson Literary Agency at 5500 W. 133rd Terrace, #821, Overland Park, KS 66209 no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, January 30, 2005 for the History in Color Contest. Failure to meet the appropriate deadline shall result in disqualification, and the entry fee shall be forfeited. The person who submits the entry and pays the fee shall be responsible for mailing the manuscripts/pages to The Ferguson Literary Agency. No electronic manuscript submissions.  Do not send contest entry via any method requiring an agency signature.

All prizes will be awarded within 30 days of winner notification.  

Neither clients and/or employees of The Ferguson Literary Agency nor members of their immediate families shall be eligible to enter any Realms of Research contest.

All deadlines and judges decisions are final and binding. 

All entries will be recycled at the end of the contest.  No contest entries shall not be returned.
