Read Contestant's Agreement

I have read, I understand, and agree to abide by the Official Rules of the Hook'em In 5 Contest.  I further understand and agree that any questions regarding the interpretation of the Official Rules and any matters relating to the Hook'em in 5 contest which are not specifically covered by the Official Rules shall be decided by the Contest Officials, and I shall accept as final the decision of the Contest officials in such matters.  I also realize and accept the manuscript judging is subjective by nature.  Accordingly, I shall accept and abide by the decisions of any judges and/or Contest officials regarding finalists or winners for the Contest.  I understand and accept that ideas and titles cannot be copyrighted.  I specifically agree that I shall hold harmless and reimburse the contest personnel and/or judges on demand for all loss, cost or expenses incurred in connection with either:     

a.  any dispute arising from my participation in the Hook'em In 5 Contest or

b.  any other matter arising from circumstances beyond the control of the Contest officials.

I specifically agree to give Realms of Research, as a condition to entering the contest, permission to use my name, photo (if provided), and manuscript title for promotional purposes.

Checking the box at the bottom the Contestant's Agreement shows that I accept as reasonable the statements I have made above.  I am checking this Contestant's Agreement in exchange for acceptance and processing of my entry in the Hook'em In 5 Contest.  I realize that Realms of Research, the Contest officials and the Contest Judges are relying on the truth and sincerity of my statements.  I further realize that my Contest entry would not be accepted if I did not show my acceptance of the Contestant's Agreement by checking the box below.
